I haven't listened to them since In Too Deep was popular, but I listened to Fake My Own Death recently and it is more of the same, but the horrible part is the music video.

They chose to add in a bunch of transparent gifs and pngs of "relevant" internet phenomena and memes, and it looks like garbage. What is it about internet references being used five years past their sell-by date makes them seem especially dated whereas other pop-culture references aren't as much? The Hell Song music video is just a bunch of celebrities and references surrounding them, but it's overall easier to watch and entertaining.

Is it the medium? The industry? The people?
