What were your fav PS2 games? Mine were Spiderman, Wall-E, and Bully. Games are not very fun to me, but as a kid I really enjoyed those.

The last one I really felt was special was DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 2. There's a niche Discord that still plays the game but I lacked the discipline to git gud.

Silent Hill 2 and 3 and MGS2 and 3. I've noticed this strange pattern where I tend to really like the 2nd and 3rd game in a series. Persona 2 is a PS1 game and the hardest in the series but I still like it and 3. After the 4th game a series usually enters terminal decline. They might come out with a good spin off or minor title but its all downhill from there and the 4th game is either really good (Persona 4) or a strange mess (SH4).

I really loved ultimate alliance growing up, it came oyut at that perfect era for comic book adaptations before they all became derivitives of the movie versions. That and that dessert storm game

File: Tsfpbox.webp (67 KB, 560x800) TimeSplitters: Future Perfect was the really cool shit, especially in co-op. Best FPS for the PS2 that I've ever played. It’s a shame that the game hasn’t got any sequels since then. Some fans are making a PC remake, but it's unlikely that I'll live to see it.

SH4 was not that bad; it sucked in some moments, but it's still a very decent game. It’s sad that many people quickly dropped the game simply because it was different from the previous parts, but some moments turned out to be really interesting and greatly refreshed my experience with this series. Especially if you look at the Silent Hill games that came after.
