Eh. As naive as it sounds, I actually tried to fight back against the cunts that were spamming the bbc and ..hey mods, I want to be b&! :D threads. I used all the old ways, gore, fluffy, and of course good ol fashioned truth'. Wasn't enough, not enough joined in. Eventually they overtook everything. It all became farming and gooning. Like a sadist, I came back to it every now and then because I held out some hope that ol glory would hang once again. Just crumbs, fuck me for believing.

I tried many times but the vast majority have even worse moderation than 4cuck, and on top of that even those that have no/no bad moderation are dead. Talking to yourself is boring. I don't need (or even want) 4cuck speeds, but if the entire interested population is done discussing a topic after a thread has had 4 replies, it's not really worth it.

Network effects are a big deal. But you also don't want to open a floodgate and get DDOS'd and spammed to death, or worse: have a quality userbase displaced by bottom of the barrel shitsters. It's a hard problem.
