It's common-place genres. - much of heavily borne out of internet culture.

And without such [i.e. the web, and its partakers], 1. its shared knowledge (and 2. even some of the initial uncoverings [via web resources... think Wikileaks - Taken from Gov. Web-Intelligence portals, and shared via internet, or David Irving finding (I think t'was Diaries, etc..) on Ebay - of: 3rd Reich hierarchy, et al] of shared intelligence-gathering done for these groups of "netizen's"/ and their: "info. enclaves" of what's Canon (to them)) would certainly not exist.
