it seems that Mootxico's anons are failing to advertise the site. To drum up more posts that aren't CP spam, word of mouth advertisment works best. We tried a banner ad once and some of you remember how that went.

You are right on the number count, but then tying to find 'good posters' from places like 4chin seems like trying to find a needle in a haystack. I don't see why would there be anyone else other than all of the caste of nu-4chin users that themselves ruined imageboards, and yet we wish to invite them here expecting a different outcome.

Certainly, there will be more users, but it will then follow the same path that sleepychan and every single others these days, massive influx of newfags, fags and so on, and the place becomes 4cuckified, making the already very few oldfags that were there leave the fuck out. Though here indeed there may not be many of them.

Trying to find good posters from anywhere is like trying to find needles in a haystack nowadays, to be completely desu.

Newfags are the lifeblood of websites, whether we like it or not. 4chan would not have been anything if there weren't droves of new people coming to the website, creating their own things, and generally participating. Oldfags do need to stick around to hound the new guys into either acting right or leaving, but it isn't like mootxico has some specific board culture to enfore a la Heyuri, Lainchan, etc. And any website can go downhill fast with lax moderation.

You have to accept that the people you want to be joining your space (in this case: aging millenials who probably have kids) are far and few between compared to the usual glut of college students looking to waste their time online, like the aging millenials used to be. The new students suck for their own reasons, but hard filtering is the most likely way of making the website worthwhile. I like Mootxico the way it is, but seeing more people find our space would be entertaining too.
